The Terrorist Group “Islamic State” took responsibility for the explosion in the Shiite mosque in the Afghan city of Kandahar, reports Agence France-Presse with reference to the grouping statement.
Explosion occurred on Friday afternoon. RIA Novosti reported that the explosion staged three suicide bombers, another person opened the shooting at the mosque building. According to the source, at least 41 people died. Other sources report 62 people.
Grouping said that two suicide terrorists made attacks in different parts of the mosque.
