President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on June 9 signed a decree on additional measures to improve the irrigation of sowing areas and ensuring drinking water needs in Khachmaz, Guban, Gusar and Shabranian districts.
In accordance with the order, for the purpose of designing and drilling 13 subartesian wells to improve the irrigation of the sowing areas and used for the sowing of household land plots in 13 settlements of the Khachmaz, Guban, Gusar and Shabranian districts with a population of 17,346 people, as well as meets the needs The population in drinking water from the amount specified in subparagraph 1.8.8 “The distribution of funds provided for in the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021 for state investment (investment costs)”, OJSC “Melioration and Water Management Azerbaijan” is allocated 910 thousand manat.
The Ministry of Finance is instructed to provide funding in the amount specified in the present order, and the Cabinet of Ministers – to solve issues arising from the order.
