President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan after telephone conversations with the head of the European Council, Charl Mishele, agreed to make a meeting in Brussels on December 15 within the EU Summit and Eastern Partnership, referred to in the statement of the European Union, RIA Novosti reports.

Also, the statement notes that during telephone conversations, Armenian and Azerbaijan leaders agreed to establish a direct line of communication at the level of defense ministers, which will serve as a mechanism for preventing incidents.
