Azerbaijan is interested in investment projects in Kyrgyzstan, President Ilham Aliyev in Bishkek said on October 11 during a meeting of the first interstate council between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan in a narrow composition.
The head of the Azerbaijani state noted that the indicators of the turnover of the two countries are unsatisfactory.
“However, in my opinion, our plans will allow in a short time to increase the volume of mutual trade. Azerbaijan is also interested in investment projects in Kyrgyzstan. We will discuss this today,” the president of Azerbaijan said.

Ilham Aliyev also expressed special gratitude “for the respectful attitude to the memory of the founder of the Azerbaijani state of Heydar Aliyev. One of the big Bishkek schools is named after him.”
noting that the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani friendship and school of the Nizami Ganzhevi will be opened in Kyrgyzstan, the head of the Azerbaijani state said that all these significant moments of cooperation cause the deep gratitude of the Azerbaijani people.
Azerbaijani President is sure that the two countries will continue to cooperate effectively. The existing dynamics of Azerbaijani-Kyrgyz relations indicates that the parties are determined to increase the potential of mutual cooperation, the President of Azerbaijan emphasized.
