The world-famous Azerbaijani Master Brush Ashraf Gabatov by order of President Ilham Aliyev received citizenship of Azerbaijan. This was reported in the State Committee on working with the diaspora.
Gabatov ever met with the Chairman of the State Committee to Fuad Muradov, where he was reported on obtaining citizenship.
The People’s Artist of Azerbaijan expressed gratitude to the head of state in connection with the receipt of Azerbaijani citizenship, noting that henceforth will make every effort to the country’s benefit.
The work of Gabatov plays an invaluable role in promoting the realities of Azerbaijan in Germany where he has already lived for 13 years. In their works, the Master Krasusa pays a significant place to customs and traditions of the Azerbaijani people, love for homeland, history, nature and culture.
Hebatov also dedicated work to the second Karabakh war.
Ashraf Gabatov calls himself to Azerbaijani and Russian artist. In 1979, at the end of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Art, he was invited to Moscow for registration of the international youth fashion center. Then he fell into the Zuraba Tsereteli group, participated in the decoration of the Moscow Olympiad. Hebatov lived in Moscow for 16 years and, retaining Russian citizenship, moved to Germany, where it lives for 13 years.
is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Honorary Member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, as well as a member of the Federation of UNESCO Artists, the owner of an international diploma “Ambassador of the World”.
