Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree in connection with some issues in the management of urban planning activities in the liberated territories, AzerTAc reports.
In accordance with the decree, the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture is temporarily entrusted with the implementation of the following powers in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan:
– provision for use and lease of land plots for construction purposes;
– granting permits for the construction and operation of construction projects in accordance with the Urban Planning and Construction Code of Azerbaijan, determining the compliance of the territory on which construction projects will be carried out with planning requirements, submitting relevant information on the completion of construction of facilities to the State Register of Construction authority arising from authorization and compliance activities;
– submission of applications to the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the classification of land plots that are provided for construction purposes, or their transfer from one category to another.
The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to resolve issues arising from this decree.
