Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited on Saturday the site of the Teknofest-2023 festival on the territory of the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul.
Turning to the participants of the festival, the head of the fraternal country called Turkey “the guarantor of peace and stability in the region.”
The leader of Azerbaijan has attracted attention to the achievements of modern Turkey, including in the technological and defense spheres. “Klezıl Elma unmanned aircraft – in the sky, the Altay tank and Togg electric car – at the festival site, and the Anadolu vessel is at sea. This is today’s Turkey!”, Aliyev said.
The President of Azerbaijan announced the imminent creation of the Bayraktar Technical Center in the country.

Aviation, astronautics and technology festival has been held on an annual basis since 2018 by the joint efforts of the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technologies of Turkey.
The purpose of the festival is to attract the interest of society, especially young people in technologies, increase awareness of modern developments and achievements of Turkey.
Visitors can see the latest developments of the Turkish defense industry, including the drones of Bayraktar Kızılelma and Bayraktar akıncı. For the first time, the Bayraktar TB3 shock drone will be presented.
Teknofest holds technological competitions, aviation shows, concerts, discussions on different topics and many other interesting events.
Teknofest is a chance for hundreds of thousands of people interested in the technologies of young people to realize their dreams, participating in various competitions.
This year, 41 competitions in 102 subcateurs are planned to be held as part of the festival. Applications for participation were submitted by 332 thousand teams and more than a million people. Competitions are held in many categories, such as smart transport, innovation in the field of biotechnology, development of microcircuits, rockets with vertical landing, educational technologies.
The prize fund in the Teknofest-2023 contests is more than 13 million Turkish lire. More than 30 million Turkish lire will be aimed at material support for participants.
