Four days ago, an agreement was signed on the supply of Azerbaijani electricity to Europe. The cable, which will be laid along the bottom of the Black Sea, will confirm that Azerbaijan is an important supplier for Europe and in this area, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in a statement for the press after a meeting of Serbia Alexandar Vucic.
“All this opens up new opportunities, new horizons, and of course, we will cooperate in this area in bilateral and multilateral formats,” said the head of the Azerbaijani state.
The President of Azerbaijan expressed confidence that as a result of the implementation of the achieved agreements, the turnover will increase between countries that are not yet at the desired level. “There is great potential in the transport and logistics sphere. Especially when you consider that international transport corridors pass through the territories of Azerbaijan and Serbia, and here our relevant structures should actively work on the creation of nodes and formations. Contacts have already been established between the relevant departments,” Ilham noted to Ilham Aliyev.
