Ilona Mask is looking for volunteers to test brain implant

The American neurotechnological company Neuralink, founded by Ilon, announced a set of clinical testing participants to implant a chip into the brain of people with paralysis. This is stated in the message on the company’s website.

According to the statement, the study is aimed at assessing the security of the implant itself, as well as the surgical robot, with which the chip is implanted.

Such an operation should allow people with paralysis to control external devices by the power of thought.

“During the study, the Robot R1 will be used for the surgical placement of super-toned and flexible threads of the implant in the brain area that controls the movements,” Neuralink emphasized.

It is noted that after installation, the implant will be invisible from a cosmetic point of view.
