With the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, excavations are underway in the ancient city located in the Aidindiyk area and carrying traces of many civilizations.

Excavations have been conducted for 36 years in the ancient city of Kelenderis, which includes a Roman bath, habits (a place where musical events are held), basilica and mosaics.

In an interview with Anadolu, the head of excavations Makhmut Aydin said that excavations continue continuously this season. He noted that their goal is to fully excavate the Roman Oder in the ancient city.
