The work of the Armenian NPP is suspended for 141 days, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the press service station.
“Today, on May 15, the key planning and preventive repair (PPR-2021) started at the Armenian NPP within the framework of the project to modernize and extend the service life of the station,” the press service said.
added there that the stop at 141 is related to the final important work on the modernization of the second power unit of the nuclear power plant.
NPPs in Armenia is located about 30 kilometers south of Yerevan, near the city of Metsmor. There are two power units at the station. The first was commissioned in December 1976, the second – in January 1980.
