In Ashgabat, they discussed the cooperation of Turkmenistan and the UN in the field of sustainable development.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, a meeting of the leading committee for the implementation of the framework of the framework of stable development between Turkmenistan and the UN for 2021 – 2025 was held in the hybrid format.
The meeting was attended by the heads and employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the leaders and representatives of a number of ministries and departments of the country, the permanent coordinator of the UN in Turkmenistan, the heads and representatives of the UN structural units.
The participants in the meeting noted that the framework of cooperation in the field of sustainable development is one of the basic documents that determines the development of the partnership of Turkmenistan with the UN and its agencies on a systemic basis, and also based on medium -term and long -term programs and joint activities. < /p>
During the meeting, the UN recommendations regarding the final assessment of the implementation of the framework program for the period 2021-2025, the work done by each of the five groups based on the results of the implementation of the mentioned document, as well as work on the development of the next cycle of the framework program for 2026-2030.
Summing up the meeting, the Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov assured that the department would continue to coordinate the development of the document at the interagency level, contributing to the implementation of the Tsur.
