From today, rates are raised by excise rates on excisable goods imported into Azerbaijan. This is reflected in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of March 14 “On the change in excise rates for excisable goods imported into the territory of the AR.”
The decision was to enter into force on the expiration of 30 days from the date of its publication, that is, April 14th.
According to the decree, the excise rate on the non-substituted ethyl alcohol (including the denatured ethyl alcohol, as part of which alcohol is at least 80%; on denatured ethyl alcohol – less than 80%) increased from 5.2 to 6 manat per liter.
also increased excise rate from 7.2 to 8 manat per liter for alcohol tinctures obtained as a result of distillation of grape wine or grape crystals, and from 11.2 to 12 manats per liter for whiskey.
