In Baku, an international scientific conference on the topic “Multidisciplinary approach to pediatric diseases” was completed, which began its work on May 31, 2021. The event organized by the Scientific and Practical and Training Center for the Office of the State Customs Committee and the Central Customs Hospital, with the support of the Florence Nightingale hospital group and Uptodate in Medicine MMC, was devoted to June 1 – the International Children’s Day, said HaqQin.az by the Central Customs Hospital.
Online conference was carried out through the Zoom platform for 3 days. At the official opening of the event, representatives of government agencies were made. Then the work was continued by presentations on various conference panels.
At the conference held to support the fulfillment of the relevant strategies of the Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan on children for 2020-2030, “the idea of a multidisciplinary approach to pediatric diseases, approved by the President of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 2073 of June 2, 2020, was promoted, the idea of a multidisciplinary approach to pediatric diseases among local doctors, Also, panel discussions and sessions of responses between local doctors and international experts were organized to exchange experiences.
At the scientific conference with the participation of more than 300 specialists, highly qualified experts from Azerbaijan and Turkey held 26 presentations on panels on cardiology, neonatology, endocrinology, hepatology, general pediatrics and gastroenterology. The questions of the participants were given detailed answers to the sessions of answers and during discussions.
The conference was accredited with awarded 21 NMO score on the basis of “Rules of accreditation of scientific and medical measures to continuous medical education” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In conclusion, it was announced that the participants completed 80% of the program will be handed certificates.
