In Baku Polyclinic sold fake covid passports

Azerbaijan’s information received to the General Directorate in the Headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan on the illegal issuance of the COVID-19 passport in the Polyclinic No. 11 of the Sabunchinsky District Baku conducted an investigation in the General Office for Combating Corruption during the Prosecutor General.

As reported in the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, during the investigation, reasonable suspicions were identified in the issuance of a fake passport COVID-19 in the absence of vaccination of individuals by employees of the specified polyclinic for a certain amount of money. A criminal case was initiated under articles 308.1 (abuse of officials) and 313 (official fraud) of Azerbaijan. The investigation is entrusted to the Investigation Department of the Main Department.

Currently, intensive investigative actions continue to identify persons involved in the performance of the above criminal actions.

The Prosecutor General’s Office once again refers to citizens with the recommendation to undergo vaccination, the most effective and effective measure in the fight against the pandemic.
