In the first quarter of 2021, law enforcement agencies were identified 31 facts of smuggling import into the territory of the country of drugs and psychotropic substances, in these facts seized from illegal turnover of 175 kilograms 847,482 grams of drugs and psychotropic substances.
As reported by Haqqın.az in the State Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and Drug Trafficking, 71 of the identified crimes was committed by a group of persons, 431 kilograms of 475.208 grams of drugs were seized on these facts from illegal turnover.
Compared to the first quarter of 2020 for the same period of this year, 656 kilograms of 945,417 grams of drugs were withdrawn from the illegal turnover.
