Ships of the Russian Navy and the Indian Navy completed the implementation of tasks in the Bengal Gulf of Bengal as part of the joint exercise “Indra Navi – 2025”. This was reported by the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

It is noted that for three days, “the sailors of the two friendly countries have worked out tactical maneuvering in joint crews, improved practical skills in the fight against unmanned aerial vehicles and the uneasy boats of a conditional enemy, and carried out artillery shooting at sea and air targets.”
“During the exercises, the crews also worked out the tasks of escorting the vessel and the organization of replenishment of stocks on the go with a traverse method from the Pechenga tanker, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.
In the teaching, decking helicopters of marine aviation from ships of the participating countries were involved. The Russian helicopter Ka -27M landed on the Indian destroyer “Ran”, and the Indian crew of the Cheatok helicopter – to the deck of the Russian corvette.
The Corvetes “Sharp”, “Hero of the Russian Federation of Aldar Tsydenzhapov” and the Middle Marine Tanker “Pechenga” of the Pacific Fleet participated in the Russian side. India was represented by the destroyer “Ran” and the Corvette “Kutar”.
The ships of the two countries returned to the Indian port of Chennai to bring the results of joint work at sea and conduct an official closing ceremony.
Earlier, in mid -March, the naval exercises “Sea Safety Belt – 2025” were held on Iranian territory.
