In Bishkek, They Discussed Turkish Relations With Kyrgyzstan And Kazakhstan

Türkiye is important to the development of political, economic and trade relations with Kyrgyzstan, where it is one of the largest investors.

This was stated by the Minister of Trade of Turkey Omer Bolat after a meeting with the Minister of Economics and Trade of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiev, who was in Bishkek in the framework of the 13th meeting of ministers of trade and economics of member countries of the organization of Turkic states (OTG).

“In this context, our main goal is to increase the volume of bilateral trade, mutual investment and diversification of the spheres of cooperation. I hope that our meeting in Bishkek will contribute to good deeds, and I am sure that together with the fraternal Kyrgyzstan, which will accept the chairmanship in OTG, we will be able to further strengthen the structure of our organization, ”the minister said.

The head of the Ministry of Trade of Turkey also met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the National Economy of Kazakhstan Nurlan Baibazarov.

According to the Turkish minister, at the meeting discussed economic and trade relations between the two countries, as well as potential areas for investment.

“We agreed on the signing of an agreement on digital economic partnership (Depa), according to which negotiations are completed in the framework of the show. We believe that the steps taken under the auspices of the OTG and the joint actions of our two countries will significantly contribute to the development of our cooperation,” – noted Bolat.
