The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belgium met the heads and representatives of the diplomatic member states and observers in the organization of the Turkic states (OTG) with the Secretary General of the organization Kubanychbek Omuraliev and Executive Director of the Representation of OTG in Hungary, Yanosh Khovari during their two-day working visit to the European capital , reports the Uzbek news agency “Dunyo”.

It was noted that the chairmanship of Uzbekistan in OTG in 2023 contributed to the institutional development and strengthening of the positive international image of the organization. Its beginning was marked by the Samarkand summit of OTG, which took place on November 11, 2022. Based on the results of the summit, a joint declaration was adopted and a number of multilateral documents were concluded on building interaction in all areas.
Diplomats gave high the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the practical steps taken to strengthen multifaceted interaction between the states of the show.
Secretary General of the Kubanychbek Omuraliev emphasized the importance of strengthening solidarity and cooperation in the Turkic world, based on the community of the language, culture and the history of the peoples of member states,
Participants noted that in the world, almost 300 million people are currently in the world in 41 Turkic, more than half of them live in countries with the Turkic state language, many are scattered into dozens of other states, while their overwhelming part strives to preserve their identity, language, culture and historical heritage.
The possibilities of developing dialogue and cooperation between OTG and other authoritative international and regional organizations were also discussed.
