China believes that greater twenty (G20) and other relevant international institutions should be used to discuss international economic issues, and not the Ukrainian crisis, said the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of China Zhao Liacyman, commenting on G7’s statement, in which the parties expressed regret in connection with Russia’s participation in the financial “twenty”.
“we drew attention to the appropriate statement of the group of seven. We believe that the G20 and other relevant international institutions are platforms for discussing international economic and financial issues. This is an inappropriate place to discuss the Ukrainian question,” the TASS diplomat quotes.
Early officials of a number of countries left the meeting of the heads of ministries of finance and central banks of the group of twenty member countries during the speech of the Russian Minister Anton Siluanov.
