The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova confirmed information about the detention of three citizens of the republic in Bulgaria after the attack in Istanbul.
“It was confirmed by the presence of our country’s citizenship in three detainees,” the press service of the Ministry said in a statement.
The Foreign Policy Department of Moldova announced the openness of the Moldovan authorities for a joint investigation.
As a result of the explosion on November 13, six people were killed in Istanbul, over 80 were injured. According to investigators, the terrorist working party of Kurdistan and its Syrian branch are involved in the terrorist attack. Earlier, the Bulgarian media reported that after the Bulgarian police attack, five suspects were detained, among whom there are citizens of Moldova, as well as persons of Arabic origin.
