The Livan government in connection with the death of Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of the Catholics and the head of state Vatican declared 3-day mourning.
Prime Minister Livan Vedvaf Salam, in a written statement, said that in connection with the death of Pope Francis, a 3-day official mourning was announced in the country.
During the official mourning that will last from today before Wednesday, April 23, state flags in the country will be imposed up to half -com.
President Livan Joseph Aun published condolences in connection with the death of Pope.
According to him, Pope Francis was a supporter of the world, justice and the poor.
Aun noted that Lebanon, where different faiths live together, “lost a friend.”
