After the explosion in the military equipment warehouse in Olgin province in Cuba, according to preliminary data, it is not possible to contact 13 military.
This was reported in the Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba (Spanish Ministro de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias – Minfar).
The explosion occurred in a warehouse in the community Melos for the reason that was not established yet.
The incident was directed by many search and rescue brigades.
Representatives of the authorities emphasized that the families of the missing military notified the incident, and the armed forces pay proper attention to the situation.
For security reasons, about 500 people were evacuated from nearby areas.
