The Czech Parliament Committee for Foreign Affairs recognized the regime of the Russian government “terrorist.” This is reported by Ceske Noviny. The resolution was supported by 12 of the 14 deputies of the committee.
Deputies condemned Russia’s aggression in Ukraine and, in particular, attacks on a civilian population, civilian objects and key infrastructure facilities. They noted that the main goal of the last wave of attacks was government institutions and energy infrastructure facilities on a significant part of Ukraine, whose victims were dozens of civilians.
According to deputies, shelling led to a reduction or termination of energy, water and heat supply in several regions and threatened the life of the civilian population.
In the resolution, the Committee also notes that the actions of Russian troops and other armed groups created with the support of the Russian authorities, according to the Eurodutians, correspond to the signs of war crimes and crimes against humanity and the perpetrators must be punished.
