The incapsulation method involves grinding cocaine briquettes along with other waste and adding the resulting powder to cement along with sand and water. As the head of the police officers of the police of Ecuador Pablo Ramirez explained to the publication, it takes about 12 hours to burn tons of cocaine, while the incapation takes less than 3 hours.
“This procedure is cheaper, takes less time and does not affect the environment so much,” he said.
It is noted that in the near future it is planned to grind and stir in concrete about 83 tons of cocaine, the material obtained can be used in construction.
