In European Parliament appealed to UEFA demanding to terminate cooperation with Gazprom

Several Deputies of the European Parliament addressed the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) with a request to terminate cooperation with the Russian oil and gas company Gazprom, reports Sportschau.de.

It is reported that UEFA President Alexander Cherryin received a letter with calls to postpone the final match of the Champions League from St. Petersburg, as well as terminate cooperation with Gazprom.

According to the source, representatives of the legislative authority sent a letter to Alexander Cefherin to the President of the Organization, in which they demanded to postpone the venue of the Champions League finals from St. Petersburg, as well as stop any cooperation with the Russian oil and gas company Gazprom.
