In France, a decision was made to terminate state support of a secondary school for Muslims near Lyon.

According to the French media, the governor of the region of the Overn-Rona-Alpa region Fabyenna Buchyo reported on the weekend that the Al-Cindy group terminated three agreements with the state.

A private Muslim educational institution is located in Desin-Sharpyu near Lyon.

State support for al-Kindy schools in France will be discontinued from September 2025.

The French authorities explained the termination of agreements by the fact that the school was committed by administrative and pedagogical violations, as well as “violations of republican values.”
