The head of the Committee on External Relations of the Georgian Parliament, Nikoloz Samharadze, said that the country could break diplomatic relations with Belarus if visits to Abkhazia from the Belarusian authorities are repeated, the Georgian media reports.
He emphasized that the visit of representatives of the Belarusian authorities in Sukhumi is a gross violation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
Recall that on the eve of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Abkhazia, where he met with the president of a partially recognized country Aslan Bzhania. It is noteworthy that Belarus does not recognize the independence of Abkhazia, officially considering it part of Georgia.
