Azerbaijani army, ensign Gurbanov Yusif Asif Oglu, who was injured in battles that occurred as a result of a large-scale provocation of the Armenian Armed Forces on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, died in the main clinical hospital of the Ministry of Defense. He was buried in the Geranboy district.

Then Schehid Yu. Gurbanov was buried in a rural cemetery. The funeral was attended by relatives and friends of Shehid, the head of the district’s executive branch Maherram Guliyev, colleagues of Shehid, representatives of the public and residents of the village.
A guard of honor was built at the funeral, a state anthem performed by a military orchestra, a volley fire was made.
