In Germany, they warned: there will be no gas in excess

German vice-chancellor and the Minister of Economics and Climate Protection Robert Habek said that if Gazprom’s supply was stopped, the government would reduce the industry gas supply, DPA said.

According to a senior official, the situation with gas supply in the country is serious. If there are interruptions in gas supplies, the authorities will be forced to save critical infrastructure and private households. The industry will be primarily affected.

Robert Habek added that gas consumption in the country can be reduced by 15-20%. “There will be no gas in an abundance,” he said. Germany will continue to fill gas storage facilities with gas from Norway, the Netherlands and other countries.

Vice-Chancellor once again urged people to reduce gas consumption. According to him, there are enough resources. The question is, “how collectively this country is working to ensure that it becomes possible.”
