Iran does not intend to fall into dependence on Russia and China and will develop relations with these countries on the basis of mutual interest, said the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry of Hozein Amir Abdollahian.
“Of course, we do not want to tie themselves to China and Russia, but we will conduct foreign policy based on mutual interests,” the ISNA agency quotes.
According to the Iranian minister, “one of the key features of a balanced foreign policy is that, taking into account the priority areas, Tehran will use any opportunity in other areas in the world for the sake of maximizing national interests.”
