Israel’s internal security agency (Shabak) arrested five women suspected of espionage in favor of Iran, transfers BBC.
In the Agency’s message, it is noted that they were engaged in collecting secret information, getting acquainted with politicians, and then sold these Iranian side: we are talking about four women in Iranian origin, which, according to the special services, were recruited by the curator.
It is noted that women paid thousands of dollars for photography of secret objects and establish links with politicians.
Women’s lawyers stated that they did not know that the man was an Iranian spy. They also insist that women were not intended to damage the security of Israel. The Sabak also argue that women were presented with serious accusations. The Iranian curator, called Ramboda Namdar, contacted women through Facebook, and then supported the connection for several years using the WhatsApp application.
“Despite the fact that women suspected that a man is an employee of Iranian intelligence, some of them supported contact with him, agreed to carry out different instructions that he gave them, and received money from him,” the special services say.
