If incidence rates of coronavirus in Israel will not start growing, citizens will not be allowed not to wear inside masks from June 15, said Minister of Health Julius Edelstein.
Almost all quarantine restrictions due to coronavirus in Israel were removed from June 1.
Thus, since June, there is no longer necessary in the “green passport”, the limitations of the so-called “purple standard” were also removed, regulating the number of people indoors and in the open area. However, citizens still need to wear indoor masks.
“After the discussions, we came to the conclusion that, as we always talk, with caution, if there are no deterioration and paintings of morbidity, from June 15 we will ask to cancel the duty to wear a mask,” Edelstein said during the Ceremony of Honor of Medical Workers . At the same time, he noted the need until this day still worn mask.
Mass vaccination of the population from COVID-19 began in Israel on December 20 last year. From January 10, the vaccinated began to receive the second dose.
