Government of Indian Union Territory Jammu and Kashmir on Monday declared Mulkumikosis (“Black Mold”) of the epidemic.
According to the newspaper The Times of India, in accordance with this decision, the treatment of hazardous fungal disease Mulkumikosis should be carried out in accordance with the Indian Law on Epidemic Diseases of 1897, providing special measures to combat epidemics.
“All public and private medical facilities should follow the recommendations on screening, diagnosis and treatment of the Municipality, published by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Government of India and the Indian Council of Medical Research,” – quotes the TASS statement of health management Jammu and Kashmir.
In connection with the spread of “black mold”, the Government of India last week called on all regions of the country to declare this disease of the epidemic. To date, except for Jammu and Kashmir, the states of Rajasthan and Telangan were followed by the central authorities.
As specialists indicate, the mucormicosis is diagnosed in those patients with coronavirus infection, which were in the separation of intensive therapy and for a long time received steroids or oxygen support. This disease is also found in diabetics receiving large doses of steroids for a long time.
