The Government of Kazakhstan approved a comprehensive plan for countering the shadow economy for 2023-2025. The plan was developed by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for financial monitoring together with interested state bodies. The corresponding decision was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.
The plan provides for the implementation of system measures aimed at improving tax and customs administration, effective competition and distribution of budget, protecting the population from illegal business, etc. In particular, the measures implemented will increase the efficiency of customs inspections, optimize customs procedures and develop additional measures to develop on administrative offenses, the press service of the Government of Kazakhstan reports.
