Russia and Ukraine can begin the war because of the “Northern Flood-2”, said the head of “Naftogaz” of Ukraine Yuri Vitrenko in an interview with Financial Times.
In his opinion, the launch of the “Northern Flood-2” and the reduction of the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine to Europe increases the chances of a full-scale war between Kiev and Moscow. Thus, with the start of the pipeline, Moscow “will get rid of the deterrent factor”, and Ukraine can become more vulnerable to the “Russian invasion”, explained Vitrenko.
