On Saturday evening, December 4, Fars News agency reported an explosion in Natanza, where one of Iran’s main nuclear facilities is an enterprise for enriching uranium.
According to media information, smoke was seen near the object, and in the sky near the city – a bright flash.
Governor of the city reported that the Iranian army experienced one of the missile defense systems.
Some sources note that the Iran’s air defense battery has released a rocket over a small object that bothered not far from the uranium enrichment plant. Presumably, it was an unmanned quadcopter.
The Iranian state news agency with the words of a high-ranking official stated that the explosion in Natanz has nothing to do with nuclear facilities.
