Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Health held a meeting with a delegation led by the Emergency and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Azerbaijan James Sharp. This HaqQin.Az reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health.
Having greeted guests, First Deputy Minister of Health of Azerbaijan, temporarily acting Minister Teymur Musaev stressed that Azerbaijani-British relations tend to dynamic development. According to him, there are multifaceted rational relations between the two countries covering many areas. Teymur Musaev expressed hope for the further successful development of cooperation in the field of health, medical science and other areas.
In turn, Ambassador James Sharpe stressed that the United Kingdom is ready to promote the creation of medical institutions in the territories of Azerbaijan, liberated during the 44-day Patriotic War. Touching on the issue of the COVID-19 pandemic that covered the whole world, the British diplomat stressed the need to further expand cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UK post-shaped period.
In the course of the meeting, the parties noted the importance of developing cooperation in the field of health and medical science, and the prospects for cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry were discussed.
