The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan met with a working visit in our country by a delegation of the Mission of the World Health Organization (WHO) to evaluate information systems of immunization.
In his speeches, an adviser to the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan for the digitalization of healthcare Rufat Hajialibekov and the head of the public health department and the head of the public health and epidemiological supervision department of the Ministry of Health Nazif Mursalov emphasized that our country has attached great importance to the development of relations with the World Health Organization. It was brought to attention that the protection of children’s health is always in the focus of the Azerbaijani state. The immunization program is supported by the state and is aimed at reducing vaccinated diseases.
Having expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, representatives of the mission noted that the purpose of the WHO Mission’s working visit is to consider foreign experts of the possibilities of planning, management, registration, reporting and monitoring of immunization measures in Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that the working visit of the WHO mission will last until February 17. The mission is planned to visit medical institutions participating in immunization measures at the national, regional and local levels.
