Moldova parliament approved a bill providing for the expansion of the list of prohibited firearms and ammunition in the country.
The document was adopted at a meeting on Thursday, on February 29 by the votes of 74 deputies, Moldpress reports.
The list of prohibited firearms and ammunition was expanded to several positions: an automatic weapon converted into a semi -automatic; semi -automatic short -barreled weapons of central battle, which allows you to produce more than 21 rounds; The semi -automatic long -barreled weapon, which allows you to produce more than 11 rounds without reloading.
The ban is also imposed on the operation of stores for semi -automatic firearms with a capacity of more than 20 rounds or more than 10 rounds for long -barrel firearms.
The authors also proposed supplementing the law on the regime of weapons and civilia -purpose ammunition with new terms.
