According to the investigation, at night on August 12, 2024, a US citizen was taken to the metropolitan police department in connection with the commission of hooligan actions.
The defendant refused to provide documents proving his identity, after which he applied violence against a law enforcement officer.
Investigative actions are carried out with the defendant, in the near future he will be charged. “The investigation intends to petition to the Meshchansky district court on the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention,” the press service of the Investigative Committee said.
