In Moscow, in the Ostankino television center, a farewell took place with the journalist Daria Dugina, who died on August 20. About 200 people gathered in the hall, Russian media reported.
The event was performed by the father of the deceased – a conservative philosopher and political scientist Alexander Dugin. He said that “he wanted to educate his daughter as he saw the ideal of a man.”
The LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky, the Vice Speaker of the State Duma Sergey Neverov (United Russia), the founder and owner of the Constantinople Malofeev television channel, also performed at the ceremony. Farewell came the head of the safe Internet League Ekaterina Mizulina, as well as relatives and friends of the deceased.
Daria Dugina was killed near Moscow as a result of the explosion, which thundered in her car on Saturday evening. Before that, she and her father visited the Festival “Tradition” in the Zakharovo estate near Moscow. Soon after her death, the FSB stated that the murder of Dugina was revealed, and the Ukrainian special services were to blame for him. Representatives of the Ukrainian authorities deny involvement in the death of Dugin’s daughter.
