The Armed Forces of Jordan reported the fall of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the north of the country.
According to the statement of the Jordanian army, the drone deviated from the course, entered the airspace of Jordan and fell in the area of the village of Suf in Gerash.
Information about the victims or dead as a result of the incident was not received.
The statement does not specify where the UAV was launched from. It is reported that after its fall in the wooded area, a fire arose, which was promptly extinguished by civil defense units.
Engineering troops arrived at the scene to check the drone for explosives.
Recall that on October 29, the Jordanian army also reported the fall of two drones who deviated from the course and crossed the country’s border.
