In Parliament Of Belarus, They Approved Bill On Joint Development Of Osvei Aircraft With Russian Federation

The Council of the Republic of Belarus approved the draft law “On ratification of an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation on the development and organization of serial production of a double -engine multi -purpose Asselee Air Force, BelTA correspondent reports. >

The decision was made at a meeting of the second session of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the eighth convocation on Tuesday, September 17.

The draft law provides for ratification of the agreement between the governments of the two countries on the development and organization of serial production of a double -engine light multi -purpose Air Force, signed on April 15, 2024 in Moscow.

Its goal is to determine the conditions and procedure for implementing a joint project in the interests of national security and technological sovereignty of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.

The interaction of the parties on certification and flight fitness will be carried out through the authorized bodies of the parties: from the Belarusian side – the Department of Aviation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, from the Russian side – the Federal Air Transport Agency of the Ministry of Transport. >

The draft law complies with the Constitution, the laws of the Republic of Belarus, acts of the President and the international treaties of the Republic of Belarus, is compatible with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, prepared in accordance with the requirements of norm -making technology.

The serial production of the Osvei aircraft is an effective and recruiting project, said the chairman of the State Military -Industrial Committee Dmitry Pantus.

According to him, the plane is designed to transport 19 passengers and is designed for air transportation on local and regional air lines.
