“The federal level of response has been introduced. This will allow the region to more quickly receive help from the federal center, including financial to eliminate the consequences of a natural disaster,” the governor’s Telegram channel says.
According to him, abundant rainfall that fell in Primorye over the past two weeks caused serious damage to the inhabitants of a number of settlements. “More than five thousand households were injured. Serious damage is inflicted on agriculture and road infrastructure, social facilities. The total damage is still estimated at seven billion rubles,” the governor said.
According to the press service of the regional government, 27 settlements were cut off from transport communication in Primorye.
