According to the report, the decision to resume the activities of the diplomatic mission was made in order to complete the process of implementing bilateral agreements on the normalization of Iranian-Saudi relations.
In addition, on June 6-7, Iran General Consults in Gidd and the Permanent of the Islamic Republic will begin to function in the organization of Islamic cooperation (OII).
The authorities of Saudi Arabia on January 2, 2016 carried out death sentences of 47 accused of terrorism and incitement to it. Among the executed ones, despite Iran’s protests, was the famous Shiite preacher Sheikh Nimr al-Remyr.
