Russian experts last year reflected more than 65 thousand kiberataks for critical information infrastructure.
This was announced by the deputy chairman of the government Dmitry Chernyshenko, speaking at the Digital Economy forum, Russian State Media reports.
“Our domestic decisions are on guard of our cyberspace, our neighbors use them. In 2023, by the way, more than 65 thousand attacks on critical infrastructure objects were successfully reflected,” said Deputy Prime Minister, without clarifying the types of attacks.
At the end of December 2023, the Security Council of the Russian Federation reported that the Russian special services in 2023 collided with mass cybers on the objects of state administration, communications, energy, science and education, industry, transport and the banking sector. The situation in this area remains stably tense, then the press service of the department emphasized.
