First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia at the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that Moscow “has no goal of destroying statehood in Ukraine.”
“I have never heard that one of our leaders, among the goals of a special military operation, said that we are not interested in Ukrainian statehood, that we are not interested in Ukraine to remain,” said Polyansky.
According to him, “Western opponents are trying to show that the purpose of the special operation is to destroy Ukraine and its Russification,” but this, as Polyansky said, “is not true.”
