Auto -dealers in Russia faced a lack of branded motor oils after suspension of the supply of imported components for their production, Izvestia reports with reference to industry sources.
They stated that in Russia there are no additives for the release of lubricants, and their supplies from Western countries were slowed down due to interruptions in logistics.
However, they indicated the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the enterprises have reserves of the necessary components, and later they can switch to their analogues from Asian states.
The ministry assures that there will not be a shortage of oils in Russia. Moreover, the Ministry of Industry and Trade expressed their readiness to adjust the list of brands falling under parallel import.
Earlier, the Kommersant newspaper noted that automobile spare parts since the beginning of the economic crisis in Russia caused by Western sanctions due to the military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine have risen in price over the March April by an average of 30%. Difficulties with deliveries to the Russian Federation led to a significant shortage of bumper, glasses and headlights, which is why prices sometimes grew 6 times relatively recommended levels.
