The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have also exchanged views on the agenda of regional partnership, including the preparation of the upcoming summites in the Central Asia Plus format and the seventh advisory meeting of the heads of the Central Asian state in Tashkent.
The head of the Uzbek state emphasized the importance of the forum in the city of Ashghabad in the city of Ashghabad as part of the international year of peace and confidence declared by the General Assembly of the United Nations on the initiative of Turkmenistan, as well as other international events.

At the end of bilateral negotiations, the ceremony of presenting Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov was held by the Higher State Awards of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the Orders “Oliy gave the doplik”.
Presenting the award, the President of Uzbekistan especially noted the great merits of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in strengthening the traditional relations of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership between two fraternal countries.
The Order of Dustik (“Friendship”) is awarded to persons for achievements in the work to strengthen friendship, fraternity and mutual consent between representatives of all nations and nationalities, contribution to the development of friendship and cooperation between the peoples of Uzbekistan.
